Psalm 121:1-3 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber;

We keep hearing in the news about recovery stages from COVID 19. The definition of recovery is 1. A return to a normal state of health, mind or strength. 2. The action or process of regaining possession or control of something stolen or lost. First let me say, we are so blessed to see this day with all the complications that come with it, because thousands have not. Like it or not America is in the recovery stages and businesses are starting to open back up. We have more freedom to move about, etc., but the number of infections is rising. I believe that we need to be more cautious and prayerful then ever. I am reminded by Mathew Henry as I read Psalm 121 “but his favour shall interpose so that they shall not damage his people. He will keep them night and day (Isaiah 27:3), as he kept Israel in the wilderness by a pillar of cloud by day, which screened them from the heat of the sun, and of fire by night, which probably diffused a general warmth over the whole camp, that they might not be prejudiced by the cold and damp of the night”. God has delivered all of us to this day and He will not stop now! In verse 3 of Psalm 121 “3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; l need to cling to these verses, but also know that we all have a responsibility to protect ourselves and the community around us with the knowledge and wisdom we have been given this far. Washing our hands, wearing masks, eating and resting right, etc. The Christian Caring Center is gearing up to reopening more days per week other than just Wednesday and Friday. The Village Thrift Shop will open back up on July 7, 2020 but only outside until our Plexiglas protections are delivered and installed. Our two men’s shelters are open and operating and have not closed at all. Our Outreach Center is still open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM for drive through Food Pantry, curbside lunches and street/motel outreach. We are planning on additional days of operation as soon as our Plexiglas partitions arrive. We are having our first Outreach in Sunbury Village on July 18, 2020 with Garden of Prayer Church and Tobias Life Center. We will be evangelizing, cooking out and have resources for young men for jobs in fields like CDL, etc. We are planning our back pack distribution for the children in late August. We are starting to plan for code blue shelter in the middle of COVID 19. All so we can minister the Gospel one by one and give people a sure hope! We need you more than ever. We are going to need people to be greeters that interview clients for how they are feeling, if they have traveled, take temperatures, pass out masks if needed, food distribution, outreach workers, hotline workers, fundraising and board members working virtually, etc. If you are interested in volunteering, our volunteer application is on our website www.christiancaringcenter.net and you can scan it back to our email at christiancaringcenter@yahoo.com or mail it back to us at Christian Caring Center, 378 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015. This is a critical time for reaching out and making an impact on our community like never before. We could never do it without your help, support and prayers! We thank you so much for supporting us even when God and the Christian Caring Center is the only one seeing but hundreds are receiving! That is giving as to God! Thank you so much!
