A Journey of Faith and Service: The Testimony of Wynn & Christine L. Faulkner

Wynn and Christine Faulkner are shining examples of what it means to live a life of faith, service, and generosity. As long-time supporters of the Christian Caring Center, their story is one of deep-rooted commitment to helping others and spreading the love of Christ. Wynn’s journey of faith began at an early age as the son of a minister. After college, he was invited by a church planter to move to Passaic, New Jersey, to assist with a newly established church. He found a job and devoted himself to the ministry, embracing the opportunity to serve in various capacities. Christine, on the other hand, grew up in a nominal Catholic home and, by her teenage years, had drifted away from the church. However, her story took a pivotal turn when her sister became involved in a Bible study outreach at the very same church where Wynn served. Encouraged by her sister to seek spiritual answers, Christine began attending Bible studies, which ultimately led her to give her life to Christ. It was through these gatherings that Wynn and Christine met, and as they say, the rest is history. The couple was married in 1979, and a few years later, they embarked on a new adventure, spending several years in Japan as English teachers and missionaries. Throughout their time in the Passaic area, they continued to serve faithfully at the church where they had first met. Their lives have been marked by a dedication to ministry, and even in retirement, their commitment remains strong. Now residents of Jackson, NJ, Wynn and Christine attend a local church and lead an online Bible study. Additionally, they have opened their home for Bible studies in their retirement community, continuing to share the Gospel and their faith with others. Upon moving to their retirement community, the Faulkner’s were struck by the number of people struggling with life's basic necessities, which strengthened their resolve to help. As Wynn puts it, "God has blessed us, and that means we should bless others." They have been consistently impressed with the work of the Christian Caring Center and are always glad to contribute both financially and spiritually to support its mission. Their story is not just about giving; it’s about standing in the gap for Christ and living out the call to serve others. Wynn and Christine’s dedication to sharing the Gospel and their resources has been an inspiration to us all. The Christian Caring Center is honored to call them not just supporters, but also friends, fellow workers in the Kingdom, and true allies in our mission to serve those in need. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing support, and we thank them for sharing their incredible journey in Christ.
